About Us

Hazel Valley Studio was opened in March 2023. The owner, Jessica Heaslip had been teaching art for 5 years in private and public schools when she decided to open her home studio for pottery classes. She is licensed and certified to teach art and holds an MAT in Art Education from Tufts University through the SMFA. Jessica has been working with clay for 15 years and loves being able to work with all ages and experience levels and show them the beauty of clay and pottery and make it accesible to all.
