About Us

Hazel Valley Studio opened its doors in March 2023, founded by Jessica Heaslip, who has dedicated 5 years to teaching art education in both private and public schools. With a passion for ceramics, she decided to create a welcoming home studio for pottery classes. Jessica is licensed and certified to teach art, holding an MAT in Art Education from Tufts University through the SMFA. With 15 years of experience working with clay, she enjoys teaching individuals of all ages and skill levels, sharing the beauty of ceramics and making it accessible to everyone.
